Fleet feet for Billy Norfleet

Billy Norfleet has been knocking on the door in many of the last few races
but this week to close out the season he got what he was wishing for, a smooth
sticky fast race track and it fit his style completely as he was on the gas
and gone for his second win of the year. Eighteen cars made the call this week

Following the race at Fork Mountain Raceway on Saturday night, officials crowned their first division champions since the track was purchased by French Grimes.

The track, located in Oak Level, ran an abbreviated schedule this season, only running five races: May 5, May 26, June 17, July 14 and Aug. 25.

Championships were awarded in the Crate Late Model, Super Street, Pure Stock, Mini Stock and UCAR divisions.
